AR Developer Tool: Enabling efficient emulation & debugging
Magic Leap X Google, 2024

Overview
As part of Magic Leap’s expanded partnership with Google🔗, I led the product design for developer-facing AR tools and emulation workflows that enable reliable prototyping for next-generation AR glasses.
Launched in 2024, it streamlines application testing across the Android ecosystem and enables developers to build and validate applications for Google’s next-generation AR glasses

Outcome
The tool prioritizes a clear, friction-free developer experience. Every workflow was shaped to support natural decision-making, minimize configuration overhead, and maintain a sense of flow.
By accurately modeling real-world optical behaviors—clarity, distortion, brightness, and text legibility—the emulator provides trustworthy feedback that reduces guesswork. Curated defaults and scenario-based testing allow developers to validate experiences without needing deep hardware knowledge.
